Who we are

Base64decode is maintained by a small group of developers who rely on Base64 conversion every day. We wanted an online Base64 tool that was quick, accessible, and respectful of privacy, so we built one and decided to keep it free for the community.

The project started as an internal utility for inspecting API payloads and email attachments. It has since grown into a reference experience that teams use during QA, documentation, onboarding, and teaching. The interface loads from the web but runs in the browser to keep sensitive data safe once you are connected.

Our mission

Deliver reliable Base64decode tooling that feels fast, loads online, and stays transparent about how data is handled.

Our promise

No tracking scripts, no hidden storage, and a roadmap shaped by the requests we receive from developers like you.

What we ship Open documentation, accessible UI, and code examples you can reuse in your own projects.
